XD Solutions is the Coordinator for F-35 Indirect Industrial Participation in Autonomous Land Systems
XD Solutions has been confirmed as the Coordinator for F-35 Indirect Industrial Participation in Autonomous Land Systems technology area by the Finnish Ministry of Defence.
XD Solutions has formed Autonomous Land Systems Initiative (ALSI) consortium. The objectives of ALSI are to utilise F-35 IIP to transfer critical Autonomous Land Systems technology and expertise to Finland in the form of industrial, technological, or research cooperation. ALSI also promotes the technological development and internationalisation of small and medium-sized companies.
ALSI brings together a critical mass of Finnish companies and research institutes to provide attractive Indirect IP opportunities to F-35 OEMs in the area of autonomous land systems.
Industrial Participation (IP) in Defence Procurements
The industrial participation is open to Finnish companies and research organisations.
The participation projects must involve technologies that are critical to national safety or related to strategic industrial know-how e.g.:
Cyber and encryption
Artificial intelligence and Autonomous systems
Structures, materials, logistics
Directed energy
C4ISTAR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, Reconnaissance)
Management of multi-technology systems
