Oona Huhtala

Oona Huhtala is a Project Manager at XD Solutions. She works across both the company and the Digital Defence Ecosystem on defence innovation and NATO-related programmes.

Oona is a security-cleared reserve officer with a Master’s in International Business and Entrepreneurship, and has a track record of research that bridges economic thinking with the operational realities of defence. Her Master’s thesis analysed the structure and performance of Finland’s defence innovation system, identifying key friction points and growth opportunities from the perspective of startup actors.
