The Digital Defence Ecosystem brings together around 70 Finnish defence and technology companies and research organisations to accelerate innovation, develop new capabilities and create international business opportunities. As the ecosystem grows into its 3rd season, so do the number, scale and complexity of its collaborative projects and funding initiatives.
The Ecosystem Director will lead and develop DDE and take overall responsibility for its business performance, budget and sales. The role combines ecosystem leadership, business development and international growth, and reports to the CEO of XD Solutions.
The Ecosystem Program Manager will build project consortia, prepare funding applications and coordinate complex multi-party projects. Much of the work today relates to Business Finland Co-Innovation projects, while EU funding and European Defence Fund programmes are expected to play a much larger part.
Both positions are permanent, with Espoo and Tampere as the primary locations. Experience in the defence or security sector is an advantage but not a requirement. Selected candidates must pass a security clearance.
